Jake Beedle

Scientist/Engineer.

Meet Jake Beedle, a high achiever who graduated from SHS in 2004 and went on to pursue a range of educational opportunities at the University of Washington. Jake's academic background includes a BA in Physics, a minor in Math and Chemistry, a Masters in Electrical Engineering, and certificates in FTGA Programming, C Programming, and modern radars. He is now an accomplished engineer who continues to pursue his interests in technology and innovation.

Jake's high school experience was shaped by his participation in sports such as wrestling and soccer. Through sports, he learned the importance of working hard to achieve his goals and the value of building strong connections with others. He believes that these experiences helped him to succeed in his academic pursuits and career.

Looking back on his own journey, Jake advises young people to believe in themselves and put in the work. He emphasizes that success doesn't come easy, but with hard work and dedication, anyone can achieve their goals.

He recognizes the benefits of attending a smaller school where students have the opportunity to form close connections with others. He also encourages students to explore their passions and pursue a diverse range of educational opportunities to broaden their horizons.

Jake currently resides in Issaquah, WA.
